Here are a few pictures from the apartment, where we are transitioning to finish work. Unfortunately I was out of town when they did the 'conches', or shells. They are supposed to bring in good luck. Here are the formed conches above the door to the apartment and the bedroom.

Another detail which is going in are the saltillo tile floors. We are using a red grout, which is found in very old construction.

The ceiling is done in a similar tile, spanning wooden beams.

Tile work is also underway in the bathroom and the kitchen. The colors are a traditional cobalt blue and 'Mexican white'. The conche in the bathroom will be the shower.

Finally, a view into the kitchen. Final colors aren't fixed yet, so don't let the orange scare you...
