Mexican Colonial Style

What was I thinking? Anyone who has been involved in construction knows it takes longer than expected. In Mexico, sometimes, it takes longer than that.

The Bóveda Suite is nice, we are staying in it now. Above it, in the Buena Vista suite, we've lost a bit of vista, click for 360 degree interactive view from the roof. One of the planned windows got vetoed by a neighbor (complex rules here). But we gained a balcony, and a nice bathroom, with a large tile tub, and access to the roof. It is being finished out now, lacking light fixtures and faucets, and the doors to the closet. But real soon now! Really.

Other parts of the suite area are beginning to get finishing details, as more and more of the construction moves into the main part of the house. The day is coming when we will shut the gate between the patios, and another part of the house will become a construction free zone.

I'm afraid I'm guilty of not showing much about this wonderful town. We walked over to the Jardin last night where there was a swing band playing in the bandstand and couples dancing in the park. The college crowd was hanging out on the theater steps, giving them a view of the Jardin and the people on perpetual parade.
